Our cashiers help make that happen, with our LEAD Cashier in charge of the last-but-certainly-not-least stage of the customer experience, ensuring the final impression is as memorable as the first.
We have an open position for a Full-Time LEAD CASHIER Customer Service Rep.
(CSR) at our Hilo Store Essential duties include (but not limited to):
Ensure smooth, efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the retail store, including opening and closing; maintain a professional, upbeat work environment by setting a warm, friendly tone in the store, and leading by example to help provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction during any point of the customer experience; Assist shoppers on a regular basis, with the goal of exceeding their expectations; make relevant product recommendations; answer questions providing accurate information; work with Retail Managers to resolve customer concerns in a professional; timely manner; Coordinate activity on the sales floor when operationally necessary; motivate and lead staff to ensure cohesive, efficient team, as well as to ensure individual employee success; assist in the thorough training and retraining of staff as required; communicate any operational and staffing concerns to the Retail Managers; Help with merchandising and inventory management, and monthly physical inventory, stock and replenish store displays; assist in daily sample and stock rotations; receive and verify transfer of products; Perform basic computer procedures for daily Point-Of-Sale (POS) opening and closing procedures; guide cashiers to process returns/exchanges and cashier change-order requests.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Physical requirements include (but not limited to):
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bending, lifting and stretching while stocking, including ability to climb a stockroom ladder; Frequent standing and walking during the shift duration.

Subject to change, based on operational needs, this is primarily an ideal day-shift-only position - NO night shift, unlike some retailers that often stay open through the evening, resulting in employees having to work a night shift , Must be available to start before, and stay after, normal store hours for opening and closing procedures respectively, Extended hours during monthly inventory, and peak seasons throughout the year, for example, November and December.
