Under direct supervision, will perform a variety of scheduling, referral coordination, quality, and phone work.
Primary responsibilities include answering phones, coordinating referrals, verifying insurance, inputting information into patient's electronic medical record, collecting payments, and supporting clinical staff as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be flexible, able to follow written and verbal instructions, and type a minimum of 35 wpm.
Prefer knowledge of clinical standards, practices and procedures and 2 or more years of experience in a healthcare setting; however, we are willing to train the right person.
Minimum education is a high school diploma.
Hourly full-time position of 35-40 hours per week with medical benefits and paid time-off.
$14.
00 starting pay depending upon experience and skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
