HI - Respiratory Therapist Tech - Days
Job Description:
Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.
Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
Shift or schedule requirements:
Day Shift (0630-1900), Three twelve hour shifts weekly (36 hours), No guarantee of hours.
15 Week ContractGeneral job duties, Types of procedures required:
Provide continuous airway management.
Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support.
Physician consulting, CPR, all aspects of respiratory care.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:
Computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 Ventilators.
V60.
Para Client Transport Vent.
Required skills and minimum years of
Experience:
Must be able to care for patients of the adult, pediatric, neonatal populations.
Minimum 2 years experienceNo first assignments.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:
RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred, State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license.
Current Hawaii license preferred, but willing to take with application already submitted for Hawaii license.
Minimum Guaranteed Hours:
2 Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Airway Management Basic Life Support Cpr Pediatric Advanced Life Support Pediatrics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
