HOPE Services Hawaii, a leading ending homelessness services provider, is seeking a highly organized and committed individual with a talent for supporting a fast-paced organization that allow for high productivity and efficiency.
The Administrative Assistant is a position that provides critical support for HOPE's Business/Administrative Office and Board.
The Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with other HOPE staff and delivers excellent customer service to clients, partners, funders, and other HOPE stakeholders.

Essential Functions Prepares memos, letters, reports and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database or presentation software.
Support Administrative/Finance Department including opens, sorts and distributes incoming correspondence, makes daily deposits to the bank, pick up payroll, program fees & mail as needed.
Manages mail and donation log.
Generate thank you letters to donors.
Records, complies, transcribes and distributes meeting minutes to board and staff.
Performs general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing and mailing.
Manage agency's equipment, maintenance and repair (cell/office phone, inventory, distribution & storage, xerox).
Oversee the installation, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and troubleshooting of agency IT systems including servers, PCs and printers, local area network, operating systems, hardware and software.
Manage administrative office petty cash.
Arrange, support and attend meetings, including preparing meeting materials, logistics, travel arrangements, and producing meeting notes or summaries, when necessary.
Recording, balancing and reconciling payroll and employee benefit entries.
Collecting and managing federal time sheets.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years of demonstrated accounting experience An Associate's Degree or higher in accounting may substitute years of experience.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and great interpersonal skills.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Valid Hawaii driver's license required, clean traffic abstract and access to an insured vehicle preferred for office errands, transport meeting materials and/or attend out of office events and meetings, etc.

Physical requirements Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items.
Scheduling requirements Entails periodic evening and weekend work Salary Pay Range:
$41,600.
00/yr-$56,600.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
