This position is located in beautiful Hilo, Hawaii Position Summary The Office Assistant provides essential support to the company's FSQA Compliance Officer to set up and coordinate safety programs for all operating companies.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties Data entry Email correspondence with operating facilities Update online safety training Ordering of supplies Tracking information Update spreadsheets Filing Other tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications Minimum Qualification Requirements High School diploma Proficient in the use of a computer, excel spreadsheets, word documents, and other required software.
Familiar with and ability to use general office equipment such as copy machines, scanners, fax machines, etc.
Working Conditions Normal office conditions Work Hours Monday through Friday, some Saturdays.
8-5 hour a day Must also be able to occasionally work irregular or longer hours as needed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
